The Curse of La Llorona hits theaters April 19

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - Hide your niños! In just a few days, you will get to experience the legend and the curse of La Llorona aka The Weeping Woman, which is about the ghost of a woman who drowned her children and now cries while looking for them in the river, often causing misfortune to those who are near or hear her.

The new haunted film from Warner Bros. stars Linda Cardellini, Raymond Cruz, Patricia Velásquez, and Marisol Ramirez as La Llorona.

I experienced a one-of-a-kind interview opportunity on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank at night with La Llorona herself a part of it.

The cast shared how much they truly believe in this legend, and Patricia told me that not only did she grow up hearing the tale of La Llorona...she also felt she was specifically chosen [by La Llorona] to be in this film!

Raymond told us his superstitions in real life: crosses in his home, cleansing to his house and body, which inspired me to get a cleansing of my own on the lot.
