Tanker Fire in Lake Elsinore - The I-15 was closed in both directions near Lake Street earlier on Tuesday afternoon after an 8,800 gallon gasoline tanker caught fire. Fire crews on the scene decided to let the fire burn out, rather than spray chemical treatment on the vehicle.

The driver of the tanker was able to escape unharmed.

The northbound lanes and one southbound lane has re-opened due to damage on freeway.
