Sylmar youth coach and father of two faces deportation

- A youth football coach and father of two who was detained by ICE agents earlier this month and is facing deportation to Mexico is out on $15,000 bail as his fight to stay in America continues.

Raymond Torres was arrested by ICE agents after being tracked for four days. The agents detained him as he was dropping his son off at an elementary school in Pacoima on January 11.

Torres was illegally brought to the U.S. when he was 2-years-old, but while he's a high school graduate and works at a solar company and a youth football coach, he did rack up a rap sheet here in America.

He has a DUI and a misdemeanor domestic violence conviction, but his attorney says he took his classes and complied with what the court issued him and has learned from his mistakes.

Meanwhile, the ICE spokeswoman says Torres also has a felony narcotics possession conviction and his domestic violence conviction included injury- something his family denies.

His lawyer says he has turned his life around in the past four years and is now a productive, loving member of his community.

He is due back in court February 12.
