Surveillance video released of man who allegedly set woman on fire in South LA

Authorities are searching for a man who allegedly poured gasoline on a woman and set her on fire in South Los Angeles.

The incident was reported in broad daylight, at 2:15 p.m. on June 12, in an alley near Vernon Avenue and Avalon Boulevard. The suspect was captured on the store's surveillance camera just minutes before the crime.

Nearly two months later, authorities said the victim remains in the hospital in critical condition with severe burns.

According to investigators, the suspect goes by the name "Boo Boo" on the streets, but they don't know his real name.
