Smash and grab burglars damage several San Dimas businesses

Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department will be reviewing surveillance camera footage searching for clues to the identity of up to four suspects that burglarized six businesses this morning.

The smash-and-grab burglaries all happened in San Dimas between 2 and 3 a.m. at the following locations:

According to the Sheriff's Department, witnesses who saw two of the burglars described them as African-American men wearing dark hoodies who made their getaway in a dark-colored four-door sedan.

The suspects stole cash and gift cards from several of the businesses while at La Villa Kitchen owners said the burglars made off with checks and documents, leaving cash behind.

Detectives believe the crimes may be related to similar incidents in Azusa, Glendora, and La Verne.
