(FOX 11 / CNS) - Authorities asked for the public's help Thursday in locating a missing 43-year-old Newhall man.
Wayne Stuart Habell was last seen leaving his home in Newhall at 7:30 a.m. Monday, according to Deputy Trina Schrader with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Habell is white, 6 feet tall and weighs 225 pounds. He has short brown and blonde hair and green eyes, Schrader said.
He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and plaid shorts, Schrader said. His vehicle is a 2008 black Chrysler Aspen with California license plate 6KMB757.
The Santa Clarita Valley Signal reported Habell is a captain with the Los Angeles County Fire Department assigned to Fire Station 73 in Newhall.
Capt. Adam Clint of Los Angeles County Fire Station 108 in the Santa Clarita Valley previously worked with Habell and told the Signal Habell's wife said her husband suffered from depression.
His family and friends are concerned for Habell's well-being and asked for the public's help in locating him, Schrader said.
