Police seek man who hit parking attendant with car in downtown L.A.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11/ CNS) - Police released surveillance video footage Wednesday in hopes of tracking down a suspect who deliberately drove his car into a parking attendant in downtown Los Angeles, causing minor injuries, about two months ago.

The assault occurred about 11:30 p.m. June 9 at a parking structure in the 800 block of South Figueroa Street.

The driver became upset with the attendant, exited his BMW and unsuccessfully attempted to raise the lift gate arm to exit the structure. He then got back into his car and drove into the victim, who by then had walked in front of the sedan, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The suspect eventually lifted the downed victim and roughly moved him from in front of the car before driving away.

He was described by the LAPD as possibly Persian, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 180 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and black facial hair.

The vehicle is described as a black 2015 to 2018 model BMW M6 sedan with Galpin Ford dealer plates.
