Suspect in custody after pursuit down 14 Freeway near Lancaster

(FOX 11) - A pursuit suspect was taken into custody Friday after a high-speed chase down the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway.

The chase reportedly started in Kern County, but it was not immediately clear what triggered it.

The chase continued on both the southbound and northbound lanes of the 14 Freeway through Lancaster, and the suspect eventually stopped in the area of Avenue G where he was arrested.
