Police arrest burglary suspects in strip mall standoff

Three suspects were taken into custody Tuesday after burglarizing a supermarket in Panorama City, police said.

The burglary was reported around 2:45 a.m. at Seafood City Supermarket at 8231 Woodman Ave. near Roscoe Boulevard, according to an officer from the Los Angeles Police Department's Mission Station.

The caller reported seeing the suspects in the store and police were able to take one person into custody, but the two others ran out of the store, then ran back in, police said.

A police dog was brought to the supermarket to sniff out the two suspects, who were taken into custody about 6 a.m., police said.

The names of the suspects were not immediately released.
