- A package with a return address of Austin, Texas that was delivered by FedEx today to a South Los Angeles home prompted a bomb squad call out.

The item was reported about 6:20 p.m. in the 4200 block of South Bronson Avenue in the Leimert Park area, according to Los Angeles police Officer Tony Im.

The resident was not expecting a package and didn't know the sender, Im said.

The bomb squad determined by 9 p.m. that the item was not a threat.
