Overturned dump truck spills dirt across 170 Freeway in North Hollywood

(FOX 11) - A dump truck overturned Tuesday and spread soil across the northbound Hollywood (170) Freeway in North Hollywood, prompting closure of four lanes for more than two hours.

The incident was reported at about 3:40 p.m. near Oxnard Street, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The truck driver declined medical treatment. A 49-year-old woman driving a sedan was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
