NASA crews make online wager on who will win the World Series

NASA usually deals with stuff that's ‘out of this world’, but two of NASA's largest facilities are going a little more down to earth…and wagering on the World Series.

Take a look at this Twitter photo from Houston's Johnson Space Center, where workers are all decked out in Astro-orange.

So Pasadena’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory got into the act with these photos:

The first shows JPL employees in Dodger blue…

Even more impressive, the second photo shows the Mars Rover - decked out in all kinds of Dodger gear.

JPL even sent us a video showing their Dodger spirit!

So the head of JPL and the head of the Johnson Space Center have placed a wager…

If Houston wins the World Series, the head of JPL will wear an Astros jersey for the day.

If the Dodgers win, the head of the Johnson Space Center will wear a Dodger jersey.
