Motorcycle club mourning loss of leader after club shooting

Members of the Dirty Birds Motorcycle Club are mourning the loss of one of their leaders after shots were fired at a club gathering Tuesday night. The DJ tells me he ran outside and saw his friend lying on the ground. He was pronounced dead shortly after.

Rancho Sheriff's units rushed to the 10,000 block of 6th Street to the Dirty Bird's Motorcycle Club in Ranch Cucamonga for reports of a gunshot victim. That victim was rushed to Arrowhead Medical Center in Colton where the 45-year-old died from his injuries. We're not releasing his name pending notification of his family.

Witnesses say they had gathered at the club for the wake of a friend and club member who died from a health condition. He's expected to be laid to rest later today.

More than a dozen bikers/ witnesses were detained for hours to give witness statements. At this point there's still no word on motive, and no arrests have been made.
