VICTORVILLE, Calif. (FOX 11) - A one year-old girl is literally lucky to be alive after falling out of a second-story bedroom window while her mom slept in their Victorville home.
The mother has been charged with felony child endangerment as well as drug possession.
The story that sheriffs deputies tell us is that neighbors called them after seeing and hearing a crying baby in front of the house on Monday morning.
Deputies responded, took care of the child, went in and found mom asleep.
The baby had crawled out an open window literally bounced off the roof above the garage and onto the driveway.
She was examined, had minor injuries and according to her grandfather who I spoke to briefly at the house is going to be fine.
