Man's body found in lake at MacArthur Park

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A man's body was found Monday in the lake at MacArthur Park west of downtown Los Angeles.

The discovery at the park in the 2000 block of West Seventh Street was made shortly before 8 a.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

The man apparently was in his 20s, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. His name and cause of death were not immediately known.

There was no indication that foul play was involved in the death, according to police.
