Man who went missing after night of gambling in Temecula found safe

A 47-year-old realtor that went missing after a night of gambling at the Pechanga Casino in Temecula has been found safe in L.A., according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Rich Tyrrell called his girlfriend, Marcy Sattelmaier, around 2 a.m. on July 8. Sattelmaier says he told her he was going to cash in his chips at Pechanga Casino and come home. But he never did.

The Sheriff's Department tweeted on Friday that Tyrrell "voluntarily left the area." They did not immediately release additional information.

The Pechanga Resort Casino released the following statement after authorities confirmed Tyrrell had been safely found:

"We share in the community's relief to hear of Rich Tyrell's safe return. We know the past few days were unnerving for his family and friends. We were glad to assist law enforcement from the outset, and we are grateful to the Riverside Sheriff's Office and everyone who contributed to the search."
