SANTA ANA, Calif. (FOX 11) - It was just before 10:30 p.m. Monday when Santa Ana police officers found a man who been stabbed, apparently several times.
The man was found in a white Mercedes Benz at Main and Warner Avenue in front of Esqueda Elementary School, authorities said. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Just minutes earlier and less than a mile away, another man was found down in the parking lot of a supermarket at Pomona and Sycamore.
He had been shot multiple times and later died at a hospital, police said.
Police believe the shooting and the stabbing are connected but how they don’t know yet.
But say they believe the stabbing victim had been at the shooting site.
