SOUTH GATE, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - A man was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound today at a South Gate residence where authorities had gone on a report of shots fired.
The incident began about 3 a.m. when some shots were heard that apparently were coming from a residence on Santa Ana Street near California Avenue, authorities said.
South Gate police and Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies were sent to the scene, and some evacuations were ordered as a precaution while law enforcement personnel sought to determine if anyone was barricaded inside the
