Man accused of killing next-door neighbor during argument in Temple City arrested

A 46-year-old man is behind bars accused of shooting and killing his next-door neighbor after an argument in Temple City.

Deputies were called out to the 9400 block of Workman Avenue shortly after 6 p.m. Monday. They located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The coroner has not yet released the identity of the victim.

The suspect was identified as Massimo Barbagallo through Sheriff's inmate records that showed the suspect was arrested less than two hours after the shooting.

Barbagallo's bail has been set at $1 million.
