Lifeguards save owl tangled in fishing line

Lifeguards in Long Beach make an unusual rescue.
An owl was found caught in a fishing line and hanging off the second street bridge.

Lifeguards reached it using an inflatable boat.

They were able to cut the line and catch it in a net.

The owl was released to the Long Beach Animal Hospital for treatment.

The owl will stay at that hospital for a few days before heading to a rehab center and once she recovers she'll return to the wild.
