City tree falls on house after years of complaints from homeowners. Good Day L.A.

The family of three inside had filed complaints about the unstable tree dating back to October of 2014. Joyce Ingram says she thought the impact was a car crashing into the house.

After years of complaints filed with the City of Los Angeles this homeowner is not happy. As she suspected the tree was leaning and eventually fell onto the roof before crushing the yard fence. An arborist from the city even came to look at the tree a few months ago before giving the all clear. Should the city pay for all of the damage?

The City's public works department hasn't given the family a specific date or time they'll be able to remove the tree.
