LAPD identifies occupants of vehicle that killed 2 Highland Park brothers

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - Los Angeles police are looking to speak to two individuals they've identified as being involved in the deadly hit-and-run in the Highland Park area of Los Angeles on May 5 in which two brothers lost their lives.

Investigators say Christian Mario Camarena Ramirez, 24 years old, of Van Nuys and Alejandro Nuño Coronado, 25 years old, of Highland Park were the occupants of the 2018 Chevy Silverado that killed Jesse and Benigno Felix.

The deadly crash occurred in the area of San Pascual Avenue and Pollard Street at about 1:15 a.m. Video surveillance shows the occupants of the Silverado exiting the vehicle and leaving the scene.

Police released photos of Ramirez and Coronado hoping the community could help identify their whereabouts.

Thursday evening, LAPD Central Traffic Division said Coronado went into the station to speak with investigators and was allowed to leave. They have yet to speak to Ramirez. LAPD also said there was a third person of interest but that person was not involved in the crash.
