LAPD Chief Beck, Chicago PD bet sandwiches over Dodgers-Cubs series

LAPD Chief Charlie Beck and Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson are making a friendly bet on the National League Championship series between the LA Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs.

If the Dodgers win, Johnson will send Al's Italian Beef sandwiches from Al's Chicago.

If the Cubs win, Beck will send a famous hot pastrami sandwich from Langer's Delicatessen-Restaurant.

Beck made a past similar bet with former NYPD Commissioner William Bratton.

Game 1 of the series is Saturday in Chicago.
