L.A. Sheriff's motorcycle deputy hurt in Santa Clarita crash

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (FOX 11) - A Los Angeles Sheriff's deputy was injured in a crash Friday afternoon in the area of Rye Canyon Road and Avenue Scott in Santa Clarita.

The crash involved another vehicle and the deputy who was on his motorcycle at the time.

The L.A. Sheriff's Department says the deputy is conscious and breathing. The deputy was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

No further details were immediately known. The crash is under investigation.
