Hollye was fourteen when her little brother Christopher, only seven, was shot in the head by a boy in the neighborhood who was playing with his father's gun. You can imagine how that devastates a family and changes someone's life.
That's why today as an adult when she has an opportunity to speak out on issues related to gun safety and gun sanity she certainly does. She is a strong backer of the new "secure gun" ordinance passed by the city of Los Angeles earlier this year, and we interviewed her as part of our story tonight on Fox 11 News on this new provocative ad campaign showing little kids holding guns on the side of city owned DASH buses would be powerful simple message "Never let your gun get into the wrong hands."
