It's Clinton versus Trump at East LA College

As she took to the stage Hillary Clinton got exactly the warm welcome she might have expected. It was a huge contrast to the cold welcome she got from protesters holding signs saying such things as "liar".

But, as she took the podium and encouraged people to start voting by mail next week, her attacks weren't aimed at June 7th primary opponent Bernie Sanders, but GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump.

Clinton took aim at the billionaire saying he has pledged in his first days in office to scrape important immigration programs and finalize the design for a giant wall on the border. "Well, the best way to prevent that from happening to make sure he never gets in the White House."

Every politician that took to the podium had the same target. State Senate President ProTem Kevin DeLeon said: "I've got a message for Donald Trump and anyone who seeks to demonize immigrants and the most vulnerable. This is California and East LA. We don't build walls here we tear them down." And, LA Mayor Eric Garcetti declared, "I don't want a president that's obsessed with the size of his hands. I want a president whose obsessed with the size of our middle class."

Meanwhile, Secretary Clinton told the packed crowd in the East Los Angeles College Gymnasium, "We also not only have to work for comprehensive reform, we have to recognize that the kind of language coming from Donald Trump is hateful and we need to repudiate it."

Meanwhile, protestors outside the gymnasium stayed long after the Secretary left.
