Irvine residents fight new plan to create temporary homeless camps in city

A plan in Orange County to create temporary homeless camps in Irvine is being met with outcry from some residents.

Residents have created a Facebook group called Irvine Tent City Protest to mobilize their battle and they are holding a protest Friday.

The protest follows scores of voices raised Thursday night at a city council meeting where resident's voiced their opinions on the plan.
