Hundreds scramble for last minute presents on Christmas Eve

Just hours before Christmas morning, many were still scrambling looking for the perfect presents.

From the back of the Kohl's line in Alhambra, you can't even see the register. One shopper said he had already waited an hour in line.

"It's pretty crazy, it goes around this store - it's pretty wild," said shopper Kelinda White.

There was even a wait at the price check counter.

But some have a strategy to combat the chaos.

"I've been shopping in line. I got all my shopping done while waiting in line. It was better that way," says last minute shopper Gali Raval.

Many weren't so lucky with finding their dream gifts though.

A Kohl's store employee says some Star Wars hoodies are gone. And you won't find any ugly sweaters left.

But shoppers say you will find decent discounts.

"Cheaper, a lot cheaper. You get better deals," says shopper Mary Lou.
