High winds blamed for West Hollywood power outage

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - Southern California Edison reports that they have restored power to about 1,120 customers in the West Hollywood area.

The utility estimated it will restore power by 6a.m. and The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power
officials say that 1,170 customers in the Hollywood Hills were blacked out.

Power there is estimated to be back up by 7:30 a.m., according the utility.

The culprit in both cases appears to be wind-related.
