High rise fire in Riverside forces dozens of seniors from their homes

A huge fire in a high rise apartment building in downtown Riverside forced dozens of people - mostly senior citizens, were forced out in the middle of the night.

The fire broke out on the 10th floor just after midnight at the Mount Rubidoux Manor on 3900 block of 10th street.

Large flames were seen shooting from this apartment unit, eventually those flames spread to the balcony.

About 50 people are displaced by the fire and at least two others are hurt.

One person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

No word yet on what started this fire.
