'Hellraiser' bandit robs Highland gas station

Sheriffs investigators in Highland are searching for a suspect who wore a mask from the cult horror film series "Hellraiser" as he robbed a Highland gas station Monday night.

The unidentified male armed with a gun, entered the Super Gas Mart station at the intersection of Base Line and Victoria Avenue and robbed it, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Highland Capt. Anthony DeCecio on Twitter. He reportedly pulled the weapon on the clerk and demanded money, officials said. The clerk handed over a small amount of cash and he fled on foot - running northbound on Victoria Avenue.

He was wearing the mask, dark pants and a black coat.

Despite the horror mask, the suspect is described as a Hispanic man who stands 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Highland station at 909-425-9793.
