Group of volunteers come together to give some L.A. schools a brighter place to learn
The sooner a child's imagination is ignited… the better chance that youngster has to succeed in school.
Not all kids have the parents who can do that. So the task falls to teachers. But that help needs to start before kindergarten.
In the vast Los Angeles school system, there are classrooms for those four to five year olds… but the rooms are often pretty bleak.
That's where one educator with a huge vision is making a difference one classroom at a time.
