Grand Terrace roller-skating rink owner found fatally shot

Ryan Harsany, 43, owner of a Grand Terrace roller-skating rink was found fatally shot inside the business early Saturday morning. Authorities believe Harsany was killed during a robbery.

On Saturday, March 16, 2019, at approximately 1:49 am, deputies from the Central Station/Grand Terrace Police Department responded to a robbery call in the 22000 block of Commerce Way in Grand Terrace, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies and fire personnel entered the building and found the victim unconscious and a fire inside.

The victim was transported to a local area hospital where it was determined he had suffered gunshot wounds.

The victim was pronounced dead at 7:26 am.

Detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail responded to the scene to conduct the investigation.
