French bulldog puppy stolen from Studio City home

Police on Friday sought the public's help in identifying whoever broke into a Studio City home and stole a 6-month-old French bulldog puppy along with property also belonging to the victim.

The burglary and puppy theft happened about 11:45 a.m. on Sept. 4, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

A window was smashed to gain entry to the home, police said.

The cream-colored pooch had been named Major Ralph.

The suspect's vehicle, a black 2008-2014 GMC Yukon Denali SUV with "Simi Valley Buick GMC'' paper plates and license plate frame, was captured on surveillance video.
