Evacuees from Florida arrive at LAX to wait out Hurricane Irma back east

Some evacuees from Miami are arriving in Los Angeles with suitcases, pets and horror stories of gas lines, traffic and canceled flights.

It's the largest ever evacuation of Miami Dade County with more than 650-thousand ordered to leave.

Many passengers at LAX feel lucky to be three-thousand miles away from the coming storm.
