Detectives investigate deadly shooting in Lawndale

LAWNDALE, Calif. (FOX 11) - A man was killed Friday morning in a shooting in Lawndale and the suspected shooter was still at large.

Deputies responded at 1:20 a.m. to the 4500 block of West 173rd Street where they located the victim, according to Deputy Erin Liu of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The name of the victim was not disclosed.

A detailed description of the shooter was not immediately available.

Anyone with information about this shooting was asked to call the sheriff's Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
