Chris Brown case: Attorney says accusation is false

"There was no gun or guns found in that house whatsoever," Mark Geragos, attorney for Chris Brown, said at a news conference Friday morning. "There were no drugs that I'm aware of that were found in that house whatsoever."

Geragos defended his client after the singer's most recent trouble with the law.

Geragos said, Brown's arrest on Tuesday for assault with a deadly weapon was a set-up by his accuser Baylee Curran, who he said, has ties to Brown's daughter's mother.

"There are reports that the accuser has a relationship with the mother of his child," Geragos said. "What's particularly disturbing to me is that this comes on the heels of a custody battle that he won."

Brown's daughter Royalty was not at the house when Brown allegedly pulled the gun, according to Geragos.

It all started early Tuesday morning when police said they got a hysterical call from a woman who claimed the singer threatened her with a weapon.

Baylee Curran, who recounted the incident to TMZ said, she was just admiring a piece of jewelry when Brown started yelling.

"I don't know if it's his friends who kind of triggered Chris, but he said don't go near the diamonds," Curran said "He started calling me names saying go back outside get the f-outside."

But witnesses at the home said Brown never pulled a gun.

Geragos accused Curran of making up the story out of anger.

"The story that was conveyed to me by the witnesses there was that this woman got irate when she was asked to leave because she was acting in an erratic manner," he said.

TMZ reports, Curran sent text messages to a friend alluding to getting Brown back for being kicked out.

It's something Geragos said he's looking into.

"If that text is true, then it gives great credence to what my client said initially which is that nothing happened and this was a set up," Geragos said.

FOX 11 reached out to representatives of Baylee Curran who said she's not making any further comments about what happened.
