Chef Adam Perry Lang arrested at Jimmy Kimmel's rental home after bomb threat call

HERMOSA BEACH, Calif. (FOX 11) - Police are still trying to figure out exactly what happened at a Hermosa Beach home owned by Jimmy Kimmel.

Kimmel's friend, Chef Adam Perry Lang, was arrested at the home Saturday night after being accused of making criminal threats.

Authorities say a man called 9-1-1 saying he had planted two bombs and shot his girlfriend with a high-powered rifle. Police say the reports were unfounded.

It's unknown if the district attorney will file any criminal charges against Lang. Lang's attorney says his client will be cleared of any wrongdoing.
