A horse fell in a hole in its stable Thursday in Rolling Hills Estates and rescue crews were working to free the animal, authorities said.

The horse fell into a hole 3 feet in diameter and 1 foot deep at a staple located on Bridlewood Circle near the Rolling Hills Country Club, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department's USAR Task Force responded to help the horse.
