Animal Services officers assisted CHP in rescuing two dogs off the 210 Fwy exit

Fontana Animal Services officers assisted California Highway Patrol in rescuing two stray dogs that wandered onto the westbound 210 Freeway near the Beech Ave. exit in Fontana.

On Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at approximately 8:28 a.m., Fontana Animal Services officers were called to assist CHP with an animal rescue on the westbound 210 Freeway near the Beech Ave. exit.

The two stray dogs, described as shaking and scared were near the divider at the Beech carpool exit. CHP used their vehicle to block one side to prevent the dogs from running onto the freeway. Animal services officers were able to rescue the dogs. The dogs were found to be in good condition. They were transported to the Western Riverside County Animal Shelter.
