Anaheim Police search for man wanted in two separate stabbings

Police are reviewing security tape from Anaheim businesses to help develop a better description of a suspect who stabbed two people Thursday night.

Anaheim police said the stabbing was not a random attack, but investigators are still looking into how the suspect was connected to the victims.

A 32-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman remain hospitalized in critical condition.

The incident began Thursday night just before 8 p.m. when police got a call about a man who had been shot on West Ball Road.

There was so much blood that witnesses mistook the injuries for gunshot wounds, turns out the man had actually been stabbed.

About two minutes later and right around the corner in front of the Holiday Inn on Walnut Street police got calls about a second stabbing.

There first responders found a woman who had collapsed in front of the hotel where many tourists were just getting home from their day at Disneyland.

Law enforcement was quick to point out the two victims live in this area and there was no relationship between this incident and the Disney resort.

Police are searching for a Hispanic male, 20 to 30-years-old, weighing 220 - 240 pounds and wearing dark jeans and hoodie.

Anyone with information should call Anaheim Police.

Anyone with information regarding the incident was urged to contact Crime Stoppers at (855) TIP-OCCS or, by email, at occrimestoppers.org.
