RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (FOX 11) - Alta Loma High School has received a threats to students and staff on Friday via Twitter, but according to local police in Rancho Cucamonga, the schools campus will not close.

According to the Rancho Police Department, Alta Loma High school officials notified them of the threats on Twitter, prompting Rancho PD to tweet this early Friday morning.

Police are working with the school's principal to locate the source of the threatening tweets.
They reported that the school will not be closed due the incident, but there will be an increased police presence on campus.
Rancho PD noted that the threats were not specific, however they were taking every measure possible to ensure the safety of students and staff on campus.
