Money raised for 4 killed in possible DUI crash in Fontana

Officials have identified the three family members who were killed on the shoulder of the 10 freeway in Fontana on Friday.

Twelve-year-old step siblings Ailyn Miguel and Isaac Briseno along with the grandmother, 58-year-old Maria Rodriguez, were standing outside of the family's overheated car on the shoulder of the freeway at the time of the crash.

A good Samaritan who stopped to help was also killed. He's identified as 60-year-old Jose Prieto of La Puenta.

Riverside resident, 64-year-old Luis Sanchez, is suspected of being under the influence when his truck slammed into the back of the family's car. It happened around 12:30PM on Friday. He suffered minor face and neck injuries.

Go Fund Me pages have been set up for for Briseno's funeral expenses as well as one for the good Samaritan, Jose Prieto.

In addition, the community game together over the weekend to hold a fundraiser for Prieto's family.

Four people died and two people were transported to the hospital after a collision on the eastbound 10 freeway in Fontana on Friday, according to San Bernardino County Fire authorities.

The crash happened on the eastbound side of the freeway near Cherry Avenue.

A woman driving a Honda pulled over to the side of the road because her car was overheating. Investigators say a white pick-up truck slammed into the back of her car. The woman and two children in the back were killed.

The victim's husband and son - who the woman called when her car overheated raced to the scene to get the devastating news.

A Good Samaritan who pulled over to help the woman was also killed.

The CHP says the driver of the truck is suspected of DUI.

Police are with that suspect now in the hospital.
