Mexican Consulate in LA sets up Hurricane Patricia hotline

- Officials with the Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles said Friday they have established a hotline for members of the Southland Mexican community to keep up-to-date on the effects of Hurricane Patricia.

You can track the hurricane using our FOX 11 Interactive Radar. Click on the “Layers” icon on the bottom right, then select the “Active” overlay.

The hotline is available at (213) 219-0175. Consulate officials also said they would post updates on the Twitter @ConsulMexLan as well as on its website and Facebook page.

According to the consulate, officials updates will also be provided online at www.proteccioncivil.gob.mx and on Twitter pages @PcSegob@LuisFelipe_P and @conagua_clima.

The consulate also provided phone numbers for temporary shelters set up in:
