HANCOCK PARK, Calif. (FOX 11) - Imagine being sound asleep...then being woken up by a strange man in your bedroom. That's what one woman says happened to her this morning...so what did she do?
Sandra Endo was live in Hancock Park to tell us.
The break-in occurred at around 4:00am near the intersection of Highland and Dockweiler streets. LAPD Wilshire officers report an African-American man standing about 5'9" and around 160lbs, wearing a red shirt made his way into the woman's bedroom.
The suspect ran out of the house after the woman confronted him, but not before making off with her purse and other property.
Officers are on scene investigating.
