3 in custody after chase ends at grocery store in Pacoima

PACOIMA (CNS) - Three people suspected of stealing an SUV were in custody Monday night after leading police on a chase through the San Fernando Valley, ending in Pacoima where the suspects ran into a Food4Less store.

Customers and employees could be seen fleeing the store around 11 p.m. as the suspects ran in, followed by police.

The chase began about 15 minutes before in North Hollywood. The SUV, which contained a male driver and two female passengers, led police on an erratic chase before pulling into the parking lot of the store, located at 12765 Van Nuys Blvd., according to reports from the scene.

Police took the suspects into custody inside the store. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
