2nd alarm fire burns through Gardena tire store

GARDENA, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - A second-alarm fire damaged a tire store this morning in Gardena.

Firefighters dispatched at 2:22 a.m. to the area of Gardena Boulevard and Berendo Avenue had the fire out within 46 minutes of their arrival, according to a county fire department dispatcher.

Fifty-five firefighters battled the blaze, and the fire was limited to one building, the dispatcher said.

No injuries were reported.
