Muslim couple hosts Hillary Clinton during LA trip

- Hillary Clinton was back in Los Angeles Sunday for at least three fundraising events around town.

This was Clinton's fourth trip to L.A. since she declared she'd be running for president.

Her first stop was Rob Friedman's home, the co-chairman of Lionsgate.

She then stopped by Perch restaurant in Downtown before coming to the home of Dr. Asif Mahmood and his wife Noshaba.

The hosts are Muslim, and though they had a diverse group of guests, many were thrilled Hillary was coming during the current political climate when they feel there's so much misunderstanding and hostility towards Muslims.

"She's making a statement. She's saying yes. This is a Pakistani-American-Muslim event and I'm here.  So I think of Muslims as as important as any other country or religion or community. It's a great statement," said Dr. Salman Naqvi, who was a guest at the event.

Supporters are also hoping Hillary touches on several international issues Sunday night.

"I think she should come out and say that yes we want to be very balanced toward the Middle East and Muslim world and also talk about the clear present danger of ISIS. It's high time," said Naqvi.
