Wild pigs invade Inland Empire park, destroying landscape

- The search is on this morning for some destructive wild pigs in the Inland Empire. Overnight a group of 20 to 30-wild boars invaded Fairmont Park - leaving behind a huge mess.

The pigs trampled on and ripped up the grass, looking for food. Even baby pigs got in on the action...

Officials believe the boars are coming from somewhere down in the Santa Ana River bottom. They say they can be really dangerous to people and almost always come out at night.

As for how much this is going to cost to clean up -there's no official word yet.

But in the past, officials have spent more than  $4,000 dollars cleaning up behind the pigs.
