Have you seen these dogs?

- Workers at Jurupa Valley Animal Shelter are hoping to find two dogs. One is a 3-year-old female pit bull. The other a 1-and-a-half-year-old female Chihuahua mix. She's only 8 pounds. Both got out of the shelter when someone broke into the shelter's kennels, cut locks and let dogs loose. 17 got out. And, of those, 4 died. Two were killed when hit by cars. Now. only the two are missing.

Meanwhile, Jason Johnson has been arrested in connection with the case. The 42-year-old Riverside man faces the prospect of some serious charges including felony burglary, animal cruelty and vandalism. Why he did what he is alleged to have done is still under investigation according to authorities. But, to shelter workers, his arrest is a relief.

To animal behaviorist Jackie Schart what's happened at the shelter is awful. To Kim McWorter, the Shelter Program Chief  "It's heinous. I mean I can't even imagine the kind of person it takes to do an act like this."
